Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accounts Associate located in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation of full set accounts (financial statements) for clients in various industry sectors
• Conduct account reconciliations, including bank reconciliation, etc.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Assist the accounts team with ongoing projects
• Manage clients' financial records
• Involve in other accounting related tasks, i.e. ad hoc advisory matters
• Support audit and tax preparation processes
• Liaise with clients, auditors and other relevant parties

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Relevant certifications such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA or ICAEW are a plus
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience
• Proficiency with accounting software SQL Account
• Strong knowledge/understanding of accounting principles and compliance for businesses in Malaysia
• Ability to manage multiple portfolios efficiently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
