Operations Assistant Manager @ Creative Hearts – Centre for Performing Arts
Singapore | Full-time | On-site @ Pandan Valley
Creative Hearts is a vibrant performing arts school for children, offering music, singing and musical theatre programmes.
We’re looking for a highly organised, proactive and dependable Operations Assistant Manager to keep our school running smoothly day to day.
This is a hands-on role for someone who notices the details, follows through without needing to be chased, communicates confidently with parents and teachers, and enjoys making things work better.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Studio Operations
Manage the smooth day-to-day running of the centre
Coordinate class schedules, rooms, teachers and student arrangements
Manage attendance, make-up lessons, trials, enrolments, withdrawals and schedule changes
Ensure classrooms, equipment and teaching materials are ready and well maintained
Coordinate teacher absences and replacement arrangements promptly
Maintain accurate records and ensure administrative tasks are completed on time
Support concert, performance, holiday programmes and event operations
Identify potential problems early and flag or resolve them before they become bigger issues
Parents & Students
Respond to parent enquiries promptly, warmly and professionally
Coordinate trials, onboarding and class placements
Follow up on enquiries and trial students
Handle routine parent concerns independently and escalate more complex matters appropriately
Create a welcoming and organised experience for every family
Teachers & Team
Communicate schedules, operational information and changes clearly to teachers
Follow up on required information and ensure deadlines are met
Support teachers with day-to-day operational needs
Coordinate part-time administrative staff where required
Work closely with the Director on school priorities and projects
Who We’re Looking For
You are:
Extremely organised and detail-oriented
Proactive
Someone with strong ownership and follow-through
Able to juggle multiple priorities without losing track of details
Confident communicating with parents, teachers and colleagues
Warm and friendly, while still professional and firm when necessary
Calm and resourceful when something goes wrong
Comfortable learning new systems and digital tools
Able to work independently and use good judgement
A team player who genuinely cares about doing things well
Experience in education, enrichment, performing arts, hospitality, customer service or centre operations would be an advantage.
Previous supervisory or operations experience is preferred.
Working Hours
This is a 5-day work week and includes weekend work.
Applicants must be comfortable working on Saturdays and Sundays as these are our busiest teaching days. You will be given a few weekends off per month.
Weekday hours will generally include afternoons and evenings.
