Drive trucks or lorries along planned routes while obeying all traffic laws and road regulations.
Cargo Handling:
Load, secure, and unload goods, and verify loads for accuracy against delivery documents.
Inspections & Maintenance:
Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, report mechanical issues, and maintain basic upkeep like refueling.
Communication:
Coordinate schedules and report road incidents or delays with dispatchers.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate activity logs, mileage records, and delivery confirmations. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
