Position: Financial Controller – Malaysia & Singapore

Location: Malaysia

Scope: Malaysia & Singapore

Key Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close and reporting.
• Oversee financial controls, statutory reporting, tax, audit, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical accounting oversight and monitor balance sheet risks.
• Partner with senior finance and business leaders on performance, budgeting, forecasting, and commercial decisions.
• Oversee billing, receivables, WIP, and cash collection activities.
• Drive finance transformation, process improvements, and system implementation initiatives.
• Collaborate with regional, global, and shared services teams.

Requirements

• CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• 8+ years of finance experience, including Financial Controller or Finance Manager experience within a multinational organisation.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysia & Singapore accounting, statutory reporting, taxation, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and commercial skills.
• Experience in shared services/GDC, professional services, or finance transformation is an advantage.
• Strong English communication skills.
