Key Responsibilities

Program Management

• Drive the overall end-to-end program and project management across data and technology initiatives, from planning through execution and delivery.
• Lead data platform and data warehouse migration initiatives, ensuring delivery within agreed scope, timeline, budget and quality standards.
• Partner with stakeholders across Data, Technology, Finance and Business units to align priorities, manage dependencies and ensure successful outcomes.
• Drive data, design and solution discussions with vendors, technology teams, data teams and user groups.
• Direct internal and external project resources across multiple workstreams to deliver agreed project outcomes.
• Coordinate migration activities across data engineering, application, infrastructure, architecture and business teams.

Project Governance

• Establish and maintain appropriate project governance, ensuring clear ownership, milestones, deliverables and decision-making processes.
• Organise and chair governance meetings, including preparation of meeting materials, status updates and minutes.
• Ensure project deliverables comply with bank policies, data governance standards, security controls and regulatory requirements.
• Measure, monitor and report project progress, key milestones, risks, issues and dependencies to stakeholders and senior management.

Scope Management

• Manage and control the agreed project scope across data migration and technology workstreams.
• Review and assess scope changes and their impact on project timelines, costs, resources and delivery.
• Ensure all change requests are appropriately assessed, documented and approved through the relevant governance process.

Risk, Issue & Testing Management

• Identify, assess and proactively manage risks and issues affecting the project, including financial, operational, technical and data-related risks.
• Manage cross-workstream dependencies and proactively escalate critical risks and issues to relevant stakeholders.
• Drive the overall migration and testing strategy, coordinating testing cycles across system integration, data validation, reconciliation and UAT.
• Ensure critical and high-priority defects are appropriately tracked and resolved within the agreed testing cycle.
• Coordinate migration readiness, cutover planning and post-migration validation activities.

Stakeholder Management

• Manage relationships across Data, Technology, Finance, Business and other functions, ensuring effective collaboration and timely delivery of assigned activities.
• Work closely with technical teams, business users and external vendors to resolve issues and drive project decisions.
• Present project status, key risks, issues and recommendations to senior stakeholders and governance forums.

Key Requirements

• 10+ years of project/program management experience, with a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and delivering complex technology projects.
• Strong hands-on experience in data platform and/or data warehouse migration projects, ideally within banking or financial services.
• Experience managing end-to-end migration initiatives, including data extraction, transformation, migration, validation, reconciliation, testing and cutover.
• Solid understanding of data management, data platforms, data warehouses, system integration and reporting.
• Experience working across Data Engineering, Architecture, Technology, Business and/or Finance teams.
• Strong understanding of project management principles, with hands-on experience across SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Proven experience managing project scope, governance, risks, issues, dependencies, change requests, testing and delivery.
• Experience managing internal and external resources, vendors and multiple workstreams in large, matrixed environments.
• Good understanding of banking technology environments, data governance, security controls and regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across business and technical teams.
• Confident in presenting to senior leadership and diverse stakeholder groups.
• Highly organised, proactive and resilient, with the ability to manage ambiguity, competing priorities and tight deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and project management tools for planning, tracking and reporting.
• Experience with JIRA and working within software development lifecycles.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• PMP certification preferred.
