We are looking for a R&D focused Lead Engineer to drive the development of products across electronics, firmware and mechanical systems. The ideal candidate should have relevant system engineering experience within a product development or R&D environment, with a good grasp of electronics, mechanical and firmware, bringing different teams together, and keeping complex product development moving forward.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you will lead system integration, resolve technical challenges and coordinate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive exciting R&D product development projects across system - electronics, firmware, mechanical and optics
• Bring multidisciplinary engineering teams together, driving projects in R&D phase from concept to successful product launch
• Lead system integration, testing and troubleshooting to ensure products perform to the highest standards
• Turn product requirements into practical, innovative engineering solutions
• Take the lead in resolving complex technical challenges across different engineering disciplines
• Drive design reviews, validation and technical risk management throughout the product lifecycle
• Explore new technologies and ideas, supporting feasibility studies and continuous product innovation

Requirements

• 5+ years of R&D or systems engineering experience
• Must have good exposure and understanding of systems for electronics, firmware and mechanical engineering disciplines
• Experience in R&D/product development stage
• Ability to work across functions and connect different technical teams
• Strong project ownership, problem-solving and technical leadership skills
