About The Job

This role focuses on leading system architecture, proposal costing, and technical presales for complex automation projects. You will bridge the gap between technical design and commercial closing to drive project profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys to map factory throughput, capacity needs, and equipment sizing.
• Design 2D layouts and create 3D simulation models for proposed system concepts.
• Prepare accurate Bill of Materials (BOM), cost structures, and margin analysis.
• Identify technical execution risks during the proposal stage to protect project margins.
• Present technical solutions and capability decks alongside the sales team.
  
  

Skills & Experience Required

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechatronics, Mechanical, Automation, Electrical).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in technical presales, solution architecture, or automation system design.
• Strong hands-on skills in AutoCAD, 3D simulation tools (FlexSim, Visual Components, or similar), and Excel costing.
• Sound knowledge of ASRS, robotics, AGVs, or warehouse control systems.
• Willingness to travel frequently to client sites across the Northern Region.
