岗位职责
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Chef to join our kitchen team. In this role, you will handle daily food preparation and cook dishes to order during lunch and dinner services. You will ensure consistent food quality, speed, and strict adherence to food safety standards to deliver a great dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation & Cooking:
Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes, portion guidelines, and presentation standards.
Service Execution:
Manage your assigned kitchen station efficiently, ensuring dishes are cooked and plated promptly during busy peak hours.
Hygiene & Safety:
Maintain clean and sanitized workstations, utensils, and equipment in strict compliance with Singapore Food Agency (SFA) food safety regulations.
Stock Management:
Monitor ingredient freshness, practice proper food storage and rotation (FIFO), and report low stock levels to the kitchen management.
Teamwork:
Collaborate closely with other kitchen staff and the service crew to ensure smooth and accurate food delivery.
Requirements:
Experience:
Minimum 1–2 years of cooking experience in a restaurant, cafe, or commercial kitchen environment. (Entry-level culinary graduates are also welcome to apply).
Certification:
Must possess a valid Food Safety Course Level 1 certificate recognized by SFA.
Schedule:
Ability to work flexible rosters, including split shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Stamina & Speed:
Able to stand for long periods and work efficiently under pressure in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment.
Language:
Ability to communicate clearly with team members.
