Key Responsibilities
- Review and interpret construction drawings, Bills of Quantities (BQ), and project specifications.
- Manage tendering activities for main contractor scope of works.
- Invite quotations from subcontractors and suppliers, evaluate submissions, and prepare tender comparison & reports.
- Prepare and submit monthly progress claims for both main contracts and subcontractors.
- Assess, negotiate, and manage Variation Orders (VOs).
- Prepare, monitor, and finalize project final accounts.
- Assist in cost control, budgeting, and contract administration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all contractual documentation is properly maintained and updated.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
- Good understanding of construction drawings, BQ preparation, and contract specifications.
- Experience in tendering, subcontractor procurement, progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
- Prior working experience with a main contractor or contractor firm is preferred.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and meet project deadlines.
