About the Role

We are seeking a highly capable Business Analyst to join our Trading Support team. In this role, you will act as the critical bridge between our Front Office trading desk and the Development, Data, Client Success, and Management teams.

You will take ownership of daily operational flows, risk visualization, and P&L collation for a high-volume desk managing both standard and 24/7 custom synthetic products. While no direct frontline execution experience is required, the ideal candidate will have worked closely with front-office traders, possessing a deep understanding of trading systems, risk representation, and the fast-paced needs of a modern trading desk.

Core Responsibilities

• Front-Office Liaison: Act as the single point of contact between Trading, Development, Data, and Client Success teams. Track cross-functional issue resolution and ensure swift follow-up on pending action items.
• Operational Ownership: Manage and optimize cross-segment daily P&L collation. Drive the continuous iteration of our risk visualization platforms and optimize daily data output turnaround times.
• Core Project Backup & Strategy: Shadow the project lead on our 24/7 synthetic product desk (including the rollout of new synthetic products). Act as the formal backup to ensure zero operational disruption in the lead’s absence.
• Risk & Client Segmentation: Support the desk’s profitability framework by ensuring accurate data representation across tiered client categorizations.

Candidate Qualifications

• Experience Baseline: Prior experience in Middle Office, Trading Support, or Business Analyst roles is required.
• Trading Ecosystem Knowledge: A strong understanding of trading system infrastructure, P&L reporting logic, and risk representation standards is mandatory.
• Front Office Exposure: Must have experience working directly with front-office trading teams, with a solid grasp of trader needs and workflows.
• Platform Expertise: Direct experience with vendor trading platforms is highly desirable.
• Preferred Backgrounds: Candidates with cross-vendor experience or prior tenures at major banks are strongly encouraged to apply.
