HIRING: Specification & Sales Executive | Johor Bahru

Location: Johor Bahru, Malaysia

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Our client is a leading international company in the architectural surfaces and building materials industry, specialising in high-quality decorative surfaces and interior solutions.

We are looking for a driven Specification & Sales Executive to join their team in Johor Bahru.

The Role

You will be responsible for driving project specifications and sales by building strong relationships with architects, interior designers, developers, contractors and other key project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Secure product specifications across residential and commercial projects
• Develop and maintain relationships with architects, IDs, developers and contractors
• Conduct product presentations and communicate product benefits effectively
• Follow up on specified projects and drive conversion into sales
• Identify and develop new business opportunities
• Work closely with contractors and carpenters to support project conversion
• Track project pipelines, specifications and sales activities
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery
• Provide market insights and maintain accurate CRM records

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, Sales & Marketing or related disciplines
• Minimum 3 years of experience in building materials, architectural products, interior products, flooring, laminates, tiles or related industries
• Experience working with architects, interior designers, developers and/or contractors
• Strong understanding of project specifications and sales cycles
• Proven track record in project/specification sales
• Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated and commercially driven
• Comfortable working independently and managing multiple projects
