Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Identify new business opportunities and actively expand the customer base.
• Promote and sell hardware, construction materials, tools, and related products.
• Understand customers’ requirements and provide suitable product recommendations and quotations.
• Prepare quotations, follow up on orders, and ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct regular visits to customers, construction sites, contractors, and project locations when required.
• Follow up on sales enquiries, negotiate prices, and close sales deals.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and product pricing.
• Coordinate with the warehouse, purchasing, and delivery teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
• Maintain accurate records of customers, sales activities, quotations, and orders.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and support the company in maintaining good customer accounts.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to the company’s overall business growth.
• Perform other sales and business development duties assigned by the management.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably in hardware, construction materials, building materials, or related industries.
• Good knowledge of hardware products, construction materials, tools, and related products will be an advantage.
• Experience dealing with contractors, construction companies, project managers, or site personnel is preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
• Sales-driven, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Good interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
• Able to develop new customers and maintain long-term business relationships.
• Able to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
• Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with the Singapore construction and hardware market will be an advantage.
• Good command of English. Knowledge of Mandarin or other languages is an advantage.
