Job Brief

We are looking for an ambitious, independent, and energetic Network & Security Engineer to join our technical services & delivery team. Your primary job scope involves project implementation and support maintenance.

Job Responsibilities

1. Project implementation: Implement network & security solutions to meet the technological needs of our clients. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

2. Troubleshooting and support: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to network & security solutions. Provide timely and effective support to ensure seamless operation of our network & security solutions.

3. Setting up demos or proof of concepts within the assigned technology and be able to perform a walk-through with the internal / customer on the key features including requirements from the customer.

4. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with clients and other IT professionals to integrate and implement our network & security solutions.

5. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes and procedures.

6. Dedication and able to handle multiple workloads with minimal supervision with strong “accountability” and the ability to perform under pressure.

Qualifications

1. Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.

2. Less than 2 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).

3. Solid understanding of core networking concepts and technologies (Routing, Switching, VLANs, Wireless, TCP/IP, and common network protocols).

4. Basic understanding of network security concepts and tools (e.g., Firewalls, IPS/IDS, Network Access Control (NAC)).

5. Professional certification such as CCNA or equivalent is preferred.

6. Strong communication skills and ability to express technical concepts in clear and simple terms.

7. Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

8. Resourceful problem solver who can think outside the box, work efficiently across teams, and handle fast-paced environments.

9. Willingness to travel to customer sites for project deployment and support when required.

10. Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
