Retail Operations Manager – Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of retail outlets to ensure smooth business operations.

Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and business strategies.

Monitor sales performance and achieve revenue and profitability targets.

Manage store managers and retail staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.

Ensure high standards of customer service and resolve customer complaints effectively.

Monitor inventory levels, stock replenishment, and supplier coordination.

Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and relevant Singapore regulations.

Prepare operational reports, sales analysis, budgets, and forecasts for management.

Plan and execute promotional campaigns and marketing activities to increase sales.

Improve operational efficiency, cost control, and productivity across all retail locations.

Coordinate with finance, HR, procurement, and logistics departments to support business operations.

Identify business opportunities and recommend strategies for business growth.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.

At least 3–5 years of experience in retail management or operations.

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Experience managing multiple retail outlets is an advantage.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and retail POS/inventory management systems.
