about the job

• To design, develop, and maintain backend solutions in ABAP, including modern development models such as RAP and CDS-based data models
• Build and extend integration scenarios using SOAP, OData, and IDoc, including monitoring and error handling with SAP AIF
• Develop and adapt forms (e.g. Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, SAPscript)
• Contribute to data migration and carve-out projects, from technical concept to go-live
• Support frontend and side-by-side development with SAP GUI Development, SAP UI5 and CAP where needed; experience with Fiori is considered an added advantage
• Work closely with functional consultants to translate business processes into technical solutions
  

about the manager/team

You will work with different stakeholders, liasing with Project Manager, Key Business Users, Business Analyst, Functional & other Technical Consultants for SAP ABAP within project implementation, enhancement / support role. As a SAP ABAP technical consultant / developer, you will be responsible for support, enhancement & development of SAP modules from technical / ABAP perspective.

about the requirements:

• Someone who has at least 5 years of experience in either SAP ABAP within implementation project and/or support (L3) is an added but not compulsory.
• Someone with at least 1 full cycle end-to-end implementation projects on a regional or global basis is an added but not compulsary.
• Those with experience in either one of these languages / tech stacks ; ABAP OO / CDS / RAP is an added advantage but not compulsary
• Those with experience in either one of these front end tools ; SAP GUI Development / SAP AIF / Fiori / CAP / SAP UI5 is added advantage but not compulsary (this is still a back end developer role, not full stack or front end)
• Someone with experience in either one of these middleware tools ; SOAP / OData / IDoc is an added advantage but not compulsary (this is still a back end developer role, not an integration role)
• Someone with at leadership experience is an added advantage but not compulsary (this is individual contributor role)
• Someone from consulting firm is mostly sought after (end user is also welcome to apply)

about the salary & benefits

• Only for MALAYSIAN or those that do not require VISA to work in Msia
• up to RM 17,000 can be increased to experienced consultant who already earned more
