The Role
Ready to make your mark? Here's what you'll take ownership of:
- Translating customer requirements into detailed product drawings and specifications
- Performing design analysis activities, including DFMEA and tolerance studies
- Collaborating with process engineering teams to ensure designs are fully manufacturable
- Driving cost efficiencies through continuous product design improvement
- Ensuring compliance with international industry standards throughout the product lifecycle
You'll excel in this role if you bring:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline
- At least 3 years of hands-on product design and development experience
- Strong 3D CAD modelling skills, solidworks with proficiency in Pro-Engineer CREO
- Familiarity with CAE tools such as ANSYS
- Knowledge of plastic technology, insert-moulding, stamping, or connector applications
- A solid grounding in Solid Mechanics and engineering drawing standards
