We are hiring a Desktop Publishing (DTP) Operator

to join our team at Applied Colours Pte Ltd. If you have a meticulous eye for detail, expert layout skills, and a strong background in preparing files for high-quality commercial printing and packaging, we want you.

Role Overview

As our DTP Operator, you will play a crucial role in our production pipeline. You will transform design concepts into flawless, production-ready files, ensuring that color accuracy, structural packaging layouts, and print specifications perfectly align with our commercial printing standards.

️ Key Responsibilities

• Prepare print-ready layouts for diverse commercial print jobs and specialized packaging projects.
• Perform precise colour correction, image retouching, and CMYK profiling to ensure vibrant, accurate print outputs.
• Manage packaging dielines, bleeds, folds, margins, and structural formatting.
• Review and pre-flight final layouts carefully to eliminate formatting, structural, or typographical errors before production.
• Convert and optimize complex files across various digital formats for high-volume printing presses.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2+ years of proven experience as a DTP Operator, preferably within the commercial printing or packaging industry.
• Software Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Technical Skills: Deep understanding of colour correction (RGB to CMYK conversion, dot gain, color profiles), pre-press requirements, and structural packaging layouts.
• Traits: Sharp attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive under tight production deadlines.
