Microsoft 365 (M365) Engineer

Location: Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur — Fully Onsite
Employment Type: 12-Month Contract
Working Hours: Normal office hours, 5 days/week
Salary: RM6,000 – RM9,000/month

We are looking for a Microsoft 365 (M365) Engineer to manage, troubleshoot, secure, and improve our M365 environment. The role covers daily administration, technical projects, migrations, security, and automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Entra ID, and Intune.
• Troubleshoot M365 issues and handle technical escalations.
• Support M365 migrations, implementations, and modernisation projects.
• Manage M365 security features including MFA, Conditional Access, Defender, DLP, retention, and compliance.
• Develop PowerShell scripts for administration and automation.
• Work with internal teams, vendors, and Microsoft Support on technical issues.
• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and configuration records.
• Support users and business teams with M365 solutions and best practices.
• Conduct regular health checks and recommend improvements.

Skills & Requirements

• 3–6 years of hands-on Microsoft 365 administration/implementation experience.
• Strong experience with Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Entra ID, and Intune.
• Good knowledge of M365 security and compliance.
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills.
• Experience with M365 migrations or implementation projects.
• Understanding of Active Directory, Azure AD Connect, authentication, networking, and DNS.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Nice to Have

• Microsoft 365 certifications such as MS-102, MS-700, SC-300, MD-102, or AZ-104.
• Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, or Microsoft Graph API.
• Experience with large-scale or tenant-to-tenant migrations.

Working Requirements

• Fully onsite role.
• Occasional extended hours or on-call support may be required during critical projects, migrations, or incidents.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
