Main Purpose of the Position:

Manage the end-to-end procurement process for engineering, CAPEX and MRO requirements, from PR/RFQ through quotation evaluation, negotiation, PO award and delivery completion. Work closely with Engineering, Maintenance, Production, and Project teams to understand technical requirements and procurement specifications.

Job Description:

• Manage procurement activities for CAPEX and engineering projects, including equipment, machinery, systems, installation and engineering services
• Manage project tendering processes, including preparation of RFQs/tender documents, supplier pre-qualification, technical and commercial bid evaluation, clarification, negotiation and recommendation for award
• Source, evaluate and develop suitable local and international suppliers, contractors and engineering service providers
• Conduct commercial negotiations covering pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranty, liquidated damages and other contractual terms
• Manage procurement for Maintenance Repair Operations (MRO) items, including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and other engineering spare parts

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Procurement in Oleochemicals, Chemical or FMCG Manufacturing industry preferred
• Experience in handling MRO, engineering spare parts, maintenance services, or CAPEX purchases
• Experience in SAP or other ERP systems is advantage
• Ability to understand/interpret engineering drawings, specifications, equipment's, datasheets would be a PLUS
• Experience in tendering processes, bid evaluations, commercial evaluations is an advantage
