Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide technical support for EAGLE's entire product line, including 5G, LTE/LTE-A, UMTS/HSPA, GSM/GPRS, and other wireless technologies.
2. Conduct schematic reviews for customer hardware designs to ensure correct integration of EAGLE modules.
3. Support customers with hardware interface bring-up and debugging, including I2C, UART, USB, and SPI.
4. Assist customers with Linux-based system integration, configuration, and driver-level troubleshooting.
5. Apply a structured, methodical troubleshooting process to identify root causes across hardware and software layers.
6. Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support, including product demonstrations and integration assistance.
7. Deliver technical training and documentation to customers and internal teams to support product adoption.
8. Support field trials and validation of wireless communication systems in real-world environments.
9. Stay current with industry trends across cellular technologies (5G, LTE, UMTS, GSM) and Linux based embedded systems.

Preferred Education/Experience/Competencies/Skills

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field.
2. 3+ years of experience in a Field Application Engineer or similar technical support role.
3. Hands-on experience with Linux operating systems in an embedded or customer-support context.
4. Experience reviewing hardware schematics and supporting customer hardware bring-up.
5. Working knowledge of Linux operating systems and command-line tools.
6. Ability to read and review hardware schematics.
7. Basic understanding of how device drivers work and interact with hardware.
8. Familiarity with common hardware interfaces: I2C, UART, USB, and SPI.
9. Strong, structured troubleshooting process for diagnosing hardware and software issues.
10. Solid understanding of wireless technologies and protocols: 5G, LTE/LTE-A, UMTS/HSPA, GSM/GPRS.
11. Experience with modem integration, device driver development, or kernel-level debugging is preferred.
12. Familiarity with RF fundamentals and antenna considerations is preferred.
