About the role

We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our team at PSS DEPOT SDN BHD' in Butterworth, Penang. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in the day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting operations of our growing business.

What you'll be doing

• Manage full set of accounts.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger

• Preparing and processing invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations.

• Provide support to operation team in day-to-day finance related matter.

• Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports.

• Providing support to the accounting team and collaborating on special projects as needed.

• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and contributing to the development of accounting systems and procedures.

What we're looking for

• Able to work 5.5 days per week

• Candidate with audit firm background is encouraged to apply.

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or equivalent.

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an accounting role.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and tax regulations.

• Proficient in the use of accounting software (Autocount) and spreadsheet applications.

• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Relevant qualifications or certifications in accounting or finance (e.g. LCCI, ACCA, or equivalent).
