About the role

We are seeking motivated and talented Geotechnical / Structural Engineers to join our expanding professional team at our new office in Kuala Lumpur. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on a variety of engineering projects, contributing to design, analysis, site inspection and project coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake geotechnical and/or structural analysis, calculations and design.

• Prepare design sketches, engineering drawings and technical documentation.

• Conduct periodic site inspections to ensure construction works comply with approved drawings, specifications and design requirements.

• Liaise with clients, sub-consultants, approving authorities and other stakeholders to obtain design information, present design alternatives and facilitate project approvals.

• Participate in interdisciplinary coordination and review of project deliverables.

• Perform quality control and technical reviews of design calculations, drawings and other engineering deliverables.

• Assist the project team in resolving technical and construction-related issues as required.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

• Experience in geotechnical and/or structural engineering design is required.

• Candidates with more than 8 years of relevant design experience will be considered for a Senior Engineer position.

• Fresh graduates with strong academic results are encouraged to apply.

• Good analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills.

• Willingness to travel outside the Klang Valley when required.

• Willing to be based at project sites for short-term assignments.

• Able to work independently as well as effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
