Job Summary
Develop and manage electrical engineering projects by designing systems, ensuring compliance with standards, collaborating with stakeholders, and delivering quality solutions from concept to completion.
Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems, schematics, and layouts using CAD software to meet requirements for building, industrial and infrastructure projects
- Prepare technical specifications that comply with industry standards and regulations
- Evaluate and select materials, equipment, and technologies to optimize system performance
- Collaborate effectively with project managers, architects, and engineers to achieve project goals
- Monitor and control project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure on-time delivery
- Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and performance analysis to validate system functionality
- Ensure electrical systems comply with safety, quality, local, and international codes
- Perform root cause analysis on system failures and recommend corrective actions
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports, manuals, and documentation for stakeholders
- Maintain accurate records of designs, modifications, and test results for project traceability
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project risks
- Ensure all electrical systems adhere to environmental and safety regulations
Required competencies and certifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on electrical design experience
- Knowledge of local electrical codes and authority submission procedures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing as a team player
