What The Role Is

ISD confronts and addresses threats to Singapore’s internal security and stability. For over 75 years, ISD and its predecessor organisations have played a central role in countering threats such as those posed by foreign subversive elements, spies, racial and religious extremists, and terrorists. As a Senior Protective Security Officer, you will play a critical role in countering possible threats through conducting physical security assessments of facilities, delivering security briefings to raise officers’ security awareness and providing advice on security issues.

What You Will Be Working On

The successful candidate will:

• Provide security consultancy advice;
• Conduct security briefings; and
• Conduct security audits of facilities.

• Degree in any discipline or equivalent competencies.
• Able to travel.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good problem solving and strong analytical skills.
• Comfortable working independently and in groups.
• Good leadership skills.
