Job Responsibilities

Source, evaluate and purchase M&E materials, equipment and services in accordance with project requirements.

Obtain quotations from suppliers and negotiate pricing, delivery schedules and payment terms.

Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely procurement of materials.

Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers and Site Teams to ensure materials are delivered on schedule.

Follow up with suppliers on order status, deliveries and any discrepancies.

Maintain good relationships with existing suppliers and identify new sourcing opportunities.

Compare quotations and prepare cost analysis for management review.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment when required.

Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Management

Job Requirements

Diploma, Higher NITEC or equivalent qualification.

Minimum 2 years of purchasing or procurement experience in the construction or M&E industry.

Experience purchasing M&E materials is preferred.

Good knowledge of M&E products, suppliers and the local construction market.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook).

Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Detail-oriented with good organisational and problem-solving skills.
