Job Responsibilities

Plan, design, coordinate and supervise civil engineering and construction works.

Review drawings, specifications, method statements and project requirements.

Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Monitor site progress, workmanship, quality and compliance with approved drawings and specifications.

Ensure works are carried out in accordance with project schedules, safety requirements and relevant regulations.

Prepare project schedules, progress reports, technical submissions and site documentation.

Conduct site inspections and resolve technical or construction-related issues.

Coordinate manpower, materials, machinery and other resources required for site activities.

Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure works are completed according to contractual requirements.

Assist in quantity take-off, material planning and cost control.

Attend project, technical and site coordination meetings.

Liaise with relevant authorities and consultants when required.

Ensure proper documentation of inspections, testing, approvals and completed works.

Support testing, commissioning, handover and project completion activities.

Perform other civil engineering and project-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

Relevant experience in construction or civil engineering projects preferred.

Able to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.

Good knowledge of site coordination, construction methods and project documentation.

Good communication, problem-solving and coordination skills.

Able to work independently and as part of a project team.
