Focuses on database architecture, migration, and daily optimization on AWS cloud infrastructure.

Hands-on management of AWS relational and non-relational database services such as RDS, Aurora, and DynamoDB.

Direct client-facing consultation on database best practices, disaster recovery strategies, and cost optimization.

About The Job

• Deploy, scale, and maintain multi-engine database environments to ensure high system availability, seamless backups, and disaster readiness.
• Requires proactive capacity planning, performance tuning, and immediate troubleshooting of complex database bottlenecks.
• Provide direct technical consultation to business stakeholders to translate complex database concepts into practical solutions.
• Candidates holding AWS Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Database Specialty certifications will be highly preferred for this role.
  
  

About The Manager/team

• Proven experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) transitioning to or actively working in AWS cloud environments.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, query performance tuning, and hands-on database migration tools.
• Demonstrated experience deploying, scaling, and managing AWS database services such as Amazon RDS, Aurora, and DynamoDB.
• Proven capability in designing high-availability architectures, disaster recovery plans, and executing capacity planning to resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Preferred client-facing exposure with the ability to explain complex technical database concepts to non-technical business stakeholders.
• Active AWS certifications—such as AWS Certified Database Specialty or AWS Certified Solutions Architect—are highly preferred.
• Strong communication in English
