Our client is a global MNC semiconductor manufacturer with key facilities in Melaka and Penang. To support their expanding production footprint and maintain high equipment reliability, we are seeking a hands-on Field Service Engineer to drive on-site technical support and optimize customer operations across the region.

• Deliver on-site installation, maintenance, and technical support for advanced OEM equipment to meet production requirements.
• Respond rapidly to emergency system outages, troubleshooting complex electrical and mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
• Interpret technical drawings and schematics to diagnose faults and execute precise hardware repairs.
• Collaborate closely with local technical teams and global business units in Switzerland to drive long-term corrective solutions.
• Serve as the key technical liaison between regional customers and headquarters to address operational concerns effectively.
• Travel regionally for product training, specialized process support, and business needs.
  
  

the experience

• Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field, with at least 3 years of hands-on field service or equipment engineering experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills; proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage to liaise with regional stakeholders.
