JOB DESCRIPTION

• Create and develop paper patterns based on garment designs, measurements, and specifications.
• Perform pattern grading for different garment sizes accurately.
• Modify and adjust patterns according to fitting comments and sample requirements.
• Ensure all patterns meet the required measurements, specifications, and quality standards.
• Prepare and maintain pattern records, size specifications, and related documents.
• Work closely with the Design, Sample, Production, and Merchandising teams to ensure smooth product development.
• Check pattern accuracy before releasing patterns for sampling or production.
• Identify and resolve pattern or fitting issues during the sample development process.
• Ensure patterns are properly labelled, organized, and maintained for future reference.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum SPM / Certificate / Diploma in Fashion Design, Apparel, Garment Technology, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in paper pattern making and grading, preferably in the garment/textile industry.
• Good knowledge of garment construction, measurements, fitting, and pattern grading.
• Able to read and understand garment specifications and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with CAD pattern-making software will be an added advantage.
• Fresh graduates with relevant education or training may also be considered.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
