We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead the purchasing function and ensure effective procurement of materials and services to support business and production requirements. The role will oversee purchasing operations, supplier management, cost optimization, material availability, inventory control, and supplier performance.

The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely material availability, maintain supplier performance, manage purchasing costs, and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Purchasing team, including supervision, coaching, performance management, and resource planning.
• Oversee daily purchasing activities to ensure materials, components, and services are available according to production and business requirements.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality, delivery, and supply continuity.
• Manage supplier sourcing, quotation evaluation, price negotiation, purchase orders, and supplier performance.
• Monitor supplier capacity, delivery performance, material readiness, and potential supply risks.
• Lead supplier shortage and delivery escalations, working with suppliers and internal teams to develop recovery and mitigation plans.
• Drive cost reduction and productivity improvement initiatives through negotiation, process improvement, and effective resource management.
• Monitor purchasing and inventory activities, including pull-in, push-out, cancellation, and early-receipt management, to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
• Support working capital and inventory objectives through effective purchasing and supplier payment-term management.
• Establish and monitor purchasing KPIs, including cost savings, supplier delivery performance, material availability, inventory levels, and purchase order management.
• Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes, efficiency, and operational effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Finance, Engineering, Operations, Planning, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to align purchasing activities with production and business requirements.
• Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies, procedures, and applicable requirements.
• Prepare purchasing reports and provide regular updates to management on supplier performance, cost, material availability, risks, and improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Sourcing, or Supply Chain, with relevant managerial experience.
• Proven experience in purchasing team management and supplier relationship management.
• Strong experience in supplier negotiation, cost reduction, material planning, and supply continuity.
• Experience in manufacturing, semiconductor, electronics, or other high-volume production environments is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of purchasing processes, inventory management, supplier performance, and procurement practices.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
