We are looking for an Application Specialist (Accounting) to join our team and work closely with our clients on Odoo ERP implementation and support. You will be working directly with businesses, understanding how their accounting processes work, helping them use Odoo effectively, and working with our technical team when customization or troubleshooting is required.

What you will be doing

• Support clients in using Odoo accounting and related business applications.
• Understand clients' accounting processes and help translate their requirements into practical Odoo solutions.
• Configure accounting features based on business requirements.
• Investigate and troubleshoot system, data, and process-related issues.
• Work closely with our technical team when issues require development or customization.
• Assist during ERP implementation projects, including requirement gathering, configuration, testing, and go-live.
• Help users understand the system and conduct training or demonstrations when required.
• Prepare user guides, process documentation, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Review and validate accounting data and reports to ensure the system is producing the expected results.
• Communicate with clients regularly and keep track of issues, requirements, and project progress.
• Handle multiple projects and client requests while making sure deadlines are properly managed.

What we are looking for

• A good understanding of accounting concepts and processes.
• Experience or knowledge in areas such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, invoicing, payments, and financial reporting.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to investigate an issue instead of simply looking for a quick workaround.
• Good communication skills and confidence in dealing with customers.
• The ability to explain technical or system-related topics in a simple way.
• Good attention to detail, especially when working with financial data.
• The ability to work independently while also working closely with the project and technical teams.
• Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Ability to manage several tasks or client requests at the same time.
