Job Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate employees across different departments, including operations, warehouse, administration and production/support functions.

Manage staff deployment, daily manpower allocation and work priorities.

Monitor employee performance, discipline, attendance, productivity and quality of work.

Assess staff performance and make recommendations on confirmation, retention, reassignment, improvement or termination.

Assist management with recruitment, interviewing and selection of new employees.

Train, guide and supervise new and existing employees.

Ensure employees follow company SOPs, policies, deadlines and management instructions.

Resolve day-to-day staff and interdepartmental issues.

Coordinate between departments to ensure work is completed accurately and on schedule.

Identify manpower shortages, operational problems and areas requiring improvement.

Implement process and workflow improvements.

Make routine operational and administrative decisions independently within assigned authority.

Escalate significant manpower, financial or operational matters to management.

Prepare staff performance, operational and management reports.

Support management in planning, cost control and overall company operations.

Take ownership of assigned projects and follow through until completion.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of relevant supervisory, operations, administration or management experience.

Strong people-management and leadership skills.

Able to supervise employees from different departments and backgrounds.

Confident in making decisions and handling difficult staff situations.

Good organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.

Hands-on and willing to be involved in daily operations when required.

Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Comfortable working in an SME environment where responsibilities may cover multiple functions.

Candidates with experience in manufacturing, logistics, engineering or similar operational environments will have an advantage.
