Quantity Surveyor - Gemas & Kuantan

Key responsibilities :

Pre-Contract

• Quantity take-off and measurement
• Source and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
• Compile supporting documents and tender submission

Post-Contract

• Source and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers
• Prepare cost analysis, budgets and monitor project expenditures
• Prepare, submit and follow up on progress claims
• Evaluate subcontractor claims and manage payment certification
• Manage variation orders and final account with clients, consultants and subcontractors
• Provide commercial and contractual support to site and project teams
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Positive attitude, self-motivated and have strong commitment to responsibilities
• Good planning, organizational, and time management skills

Requirements :

• Computer literate (Microsoft Office application, AutoCAD, and Glodon).
• QS post for both Pre & Post Contract works in Building Construction.
• Knowledge of construction methods, costing summary and materials budget handling skills.
• Demonstrate innovative approaches to problem-solving and an ability to negotiate across the various levels of any construction environment.
• Proactive and able to work on own initiative with minimum supervision.
• Able to prioritize and respond with an appropriate level of urgency.
• Able to communicate in both languages of Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Preferably candidates can START IMMEDIATELY

Remuneration will be commensurate with experiences and qualifications.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Quantity surveyor: 3 years (Preferred)
