The Software Tester is responsible for testing software applications to ensure functionality, reliability, and quality before release. The role develops test cases, identifies defects, performs functional and regression testing, and works closely with developers to resolve issues. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute software test plans and test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects.
• Verify bug fixes and conduct regression testing.
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts.
• Maintain test scripts, reports, and testing documentation.
• Perform API and database testing when required.
• Monitor application quality and testing results.
• Support continuous improvement of QA processes.
• Prepare testing reports for project stakeholders.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with manual software testing and QA methodologies.
• Familiarity with testing and defect-management tools.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
