Bitsy or also known as Bitsy Artisan is a passionate and innovative bakery brand located at Bandar Cukai, Kemaman Terengganu dedicated to creating delightful, handcrafted baked goods that bring joy to every bite. Founded on a love for quality ingredients and creative recipes, we specialize in a wide range of products including artisanal breads, decadent cakes, delicate pastries, and signature cookies. Now, we are seeking a Junior Baker to join our team.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare ingredients and desserts according to recipes & SOPs
• Ensure consistent taste, texture and quality of all desserts
• Prepare, bake and decorate desserts according to orders
• Ensure desserts are neat, presentable and sale-ready
• Maintain cleanliness of personal hygiene, kitchen, equipment and work area.
• Monitor ingredient stock and ensure proper storage of ingredients & finished desserts
• Assist with special orders, seasonal and festive desserts items
• Participate in R&D for new desserts, including sample preparation, recipe improvement and quality control
• Work closely with the kitchen team and assist with other kitchen/cafe duties when required.

Requirements:

• Minimum SPM or equivalent; certification in Baking/Pastry Arts is an advantage.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in baking pastries, desserts, or cakes.
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, recipes, and food safety practices.
• Creativity and artistic skills in cake and pastry decoration.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently.
• Good time management and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and quality.
• Willing to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and passion for the baking industry.
