About the Role

We are looking for a driven and ambitious Recruiter to join our growing recruitment team, specialising in the Marine & Offshore industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, attracting and engaging qualified professionals across the maritime, shipping, offshore, marine engineering and related sectors.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting people, building relationships, business development and working in a target-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Candidate Management

• Source and identify suitable candidates through LinkedIn, job portals, professional networks, referrals and industry contacts.
• Conduct candidate screening, interviews and competency assessments.
• Understand candidates' career aspirations, experience, availability and salary expectations.
• Build and maintain a strong database of Marine & Offshore professionals.
• Present qualified candidates to clients and coordinate the interview and selection process.
• Manage candidates throughout the recruitment process, from initial approach through to offer and placement.
• Conduct reference checks and support the offer negotiation process where required.
• Maintain regular communication with candidates and provide updates throughout the hiring process.

Client & Business Development

• Develop relationships with existing and prospective clients within the Marine & Offshore, Shipping, Shipyard and Maritime industries.
• Identify companies that are actively hiring and develop new business opportunities.
• Conduct market mapping and competitor research to identify potential clients and candidates.
• Understand client requirements, company culture and hiring needs.
• Work closely with clients to understand job specifications and provide suitable candidates.
• Attend client meetings, maritime networking events, conferences and industry functions.
• Develop long-term relationships with hiring managers, HR professionals and senior management.
