We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to help support and maintain Vidispine platforms and services. In this role, you will work with internal teams and customers to troubleshoot issues, support system stability, and contribute to a positive user experience.

What you’ll do

• Investigate, troubleshoot, and support resolution of technical issues
• Communicate clearly with users and stakeholders to provide guidance and updates
• Contribute to maintaining a reliable and stable platform environment
• Create and maintain documentation to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to address more complex issues
• Support ongoing communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Participate in an on-call rotation to help support service continuity

Experience

• Experience in technical support, system administration, or similar roles
• Experience working with software platforms or cloud-based systems is helpful
• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with Linux and/or Windows environments
• Experience working with databases (e.g., SQL, PostgreSQL)
• Exposure to APIs (e.g., REST) and troubleshooting integrations
• Familiarity with container technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Helm) is helpful
• Experience with logging or observability tools (e.g., OpenSearch, Elasticsearch)
• Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git)
• Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) is beneficial

• Clear communication and ability to explain technical concepts to different audiences
• Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
• Ability to manage priorities and work both independently and collaboratively
• Adaptability in a dynamic environment

Additional Information

• Participation in an on-call rotation may be required
