We are looking for a visionary Lead Software Engineer to lead a cross-functional team of software and AI engineers in building an end-to-end intelligent supply chain platform. You will combine strong software engineering and AI/ML expertise with supply chain knowledge to develop solutions that improve forecasting, procurement and logistics operations.

This is a high-impact opportunity for someone who wants to move beyond coding and shape how AI is applied to real-world business operations, with direct exposure to senior stakeholders and customers.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the architecture and development of AI-driven solutions across demand forecasting, procurement, warehousing and logistics.
• Develop predictive models and optimisation engines to improve inventory levels, purchasing decisions, warehouse utilisation and delivery efficiency.
• Lead and mentor software and AI/ML engineers, driving engineering best practices, system architecture and MLOps.
• Transform legacy business processes through AI, automation and Design Thinking.
• Work directly with customers and business stakeholders to understand challenges and translate them into scalable technology solutions.
• Drive projects from concept and solution design through implementation and deployment, ensuring measurable business outcomes and ROI.
• Build and integrate AI solutions with enterprise platforms such as SAP, Oracle and WMS.
• Champion a collaborative, innovative and high-performance engineering culture.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering or related disciplines.
• At least 5 years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in AI/ML development.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and complex, multi-phase projects.
• Strong Python expertise and hands-on experience with AI/ML development.
• Experience in time-series forecasting and optimisation techniques.
• Knowledge of databases, data lakes/data platforms such as Databricks.
• Strong understanding of supply chain, inventory, procurement, warehousing and logistics.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP, containerisation and MLOps/CI/CD.
• Experience integrating AI solutions with ERP or WMS platforms is highly advantageous.
• Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to business and senior management.
