We are looking for a skilled and motivated E&I Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical and instrumentation maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, testing, and commissioning at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform troubleshooting, servicing, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation equipment.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance works.
- Attend site breakdowns and provide technical support to customers.
- Perform cable routing, wiring, termination, and instrument installation.
- Assist with testing and calibration of instruments and control devices.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs.
- Prepare service reports and maintain accurate work records.
- Participate in standby/on-call duties and respond to emergency breakdowns when required.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with company and workplace safety requirements.
Requirements
- Nitec, Higher Nitec, or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
- Relevant technical certifications will be an added advantage.
- Experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance, servicing, installation, or troubleshooting is preferred.
- Experience or exposure to Oil & Gas, manufacturing, utilities, boiler & burner, or process industries will be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, control panels, motors, sensors, and industrial equipment.
- Basic knowledge of PLC and industrial automation systems will be an added advantage.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Positive work attitude with a strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites when required.
- Willingness to work overtime and participate in standby/on-call duties.
Pay: $1,200.00 - $1,400.00 per month
Work Location: In person
