Advisory & Solutions Development

Lead and develop strategic advisory engagements across payments, financial infrastructure and related areas.

Provide commercial, policy and regulatory expertise to governments, regulators, financial institutions and other ecosystem stakeholders.

Project Leadership & Delivery

Lead complex advisory projects from scoping and diagnostics through stakeholder engagement, analysis, recommendations and implementation roadmaps.

Business Development & Commercial Management

Identify new business opportunities, develop and maintain client relationships, lead proposals and commercial discussions, support contract closure, and oversee the end-to-end progression of engagements from origination through successful delivery.

Payments & Regulatory Advisory

Provide subject-matter expertise across cross-border payments, payment infrastructure and related policy and regulatory matters.

Where relevant to client engagements, assess developments such as digital assets, CBDCs, tokenised deposits and AI-enabled financial services.

Skills & Experience

10+ years’ experience in payments, financial services, fintech, financial infrastructure, policy advisory, consulting or a related field, with experience operating at a senior level.

Deep understanding of cross-border payments, payment systems and the commercial and operational dynamics of the payments ecosystem.

Strong knowledge of payment system economics, including pricing and fee models, correspondent banking, payment service provider business models, liquidity requirements and cost allocation mechanisms.

Strong understanding of financial services policy and regulatory frameworks, with the ability to assess the commercial and operational implications of regulatory developments.

Demonstrated experience leading complex advisory or consulting engagements, including developing recommendations and translating them into practical implementation roadmaps.

Strong commercial and business development capabilities, with experience identifying opportunities, developing proposals and managing senior client relationships.

Experience engaging with senior stakeholders across governments, regulators, central banks, financial institutions, payment service providers, fintechs and other ecosystem participants.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex commercial, policy and regulatory issues and translate them into clear, actionable recommendations.

Excellent written, presentation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex topics effectively to senior and diverse audiences.

Experience working across emerging markets and/or international markets, particularly Latin America, Africa and the Middle East, would be advantageous.

Knowledge of digital assets, CBDCs, stablecoins, tokenised deposits, AI-enabled financial services and MSME finance would be advantageous.

Experience working with multilateral or development institutions would be advantageous.

Ability and willingness to travel internationally as required for client and project engagements.
