Job Purpose

To support the seamless running of the Reservations department by providing the highest standards of customer care always.

Objectives & Goals

• To ensure all guests receive a positive and professional impression of the restaurant.

• To provide guests with the confidence that their reservations are being dealt with effectively & efficiently.

• Provide clear communication to all relevant parties.

• To have a positive, direct and open relationship with all colleagues

Requirements

• Able to work under pressure, in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

• Solution minded with a can-do attitude.

• Excellent command in spoken and written English. Cantonese or Mandarin preferred but not a must.

• Ability to work efficiently in a team or independently.

• Clear, concise communication skills with attention to detail.

• Within the department, support a culture of pride, ownership and desire to exceed expectation.

• To foster a culture of flexibility. Responding quickly and positively to changing requirements whether within the department or outside in order to meet business demands and guest service needs.

• Proficiency in the SevenRooms booking system is essential.

Job Activities

Customer Service

• To acknowledge and make all guests feel welcome when speaking to them.

• Provide a quick and efficient service for all guests.

• Be prepared to answer questions about Zuma Restaurant.

• Where necessary, assist with the training of new employees.

Responsibilities

• To answer calls from the queuing system as quickly as possible.

• To assist guests over the phone or by email in a clear, polite and concise manner.

• To be proactive in ensuring that the information given to customers is accurate and appropriate about the restaurant.

• Fulfill all reservation duties in an efficient and concise manner.

• Working as a team, developing a positive and direct relationship with all colleagues

• To provide a clear handover at the end of each shift.
