About the Role

Nissei Technology (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced and capable IT Manager to lead and manage the Company's information technology operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing IT infrastructure, systems, cybersecurity, technical support, and IT-related projects to ensure efficient, secure, and reliable business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall IT operations and IT team.
• Develop, implement, and maintain the Company's IT strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware, software, and related systems.
• Ensure the security, reliability, and availability of the Company's IT systems and data.
• Monitor cybersecurity risks and implement appropriate preventive and corrective measures.
• Oversee system upgrades, IT projects, digitalisation initiatives, and technology improvements.
• Provide technical guidance and support to internal users and departments.
• Manage relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.
• Develop and manage the IT budget and ensure effective utilisation of IT resources.
• Establish and maintain IT disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity measures.
• Ensure compliance with relevant IT security, data protection, and Company requirements.
• Prepare IT-related reports and recommendations for Management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant IT experience, preferably with experience in a managerial or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, network administration, servers, hardware, and software systems.
• Good knowledge of cybersecurity, data protection, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Experience in managing IT projects and working with external vendors.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From RM6,500.00 per month
