About the Role

We are hiring a suitable team member for our team in Kuala Lumpur. You will be part of a team that is responsible for new application development and improving existing applications to meet the changing needs of our business and customers.

The application is developed using .NET technologies. You must be able to display knowledge of technical design alternatives and their implications by contributing to the development team in application technical design activities. You must have excellent written and spoken English and have good communication skills. You will be working in a Scrum/Agile, SAFE development environment and are therefore expected to contribute beyond a traditional developer’s role by providing creative solutions to the business problem being solved.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, implementing and maintaining web applications for SEB’s Technology Division business unit.
• Contributing to the development team in application technical design activities.
• Providing creative solutions to business problems.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Required Skills

• .NET Core exposure
• Experience working in enterprise infrastructure environments
• Experience in Event Driven Architecture
• Experience working in microservices environment
• Design patterns (e.g. Gang Of Four, SOLID, DDD, Clean Architecture)
• Container (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) technology
• Experience with Sequence or UML diagram
• Good knowledge in data persistence (one of ORM, EF, SQL, NoSQL)
• Good experience in Web API and REST
• Hands on experience with Secure Coding Practices (OWASP)
• Experience in HTML, CSS and JavaScript

Preferred Skills

• Experience in unit testing (eg: XUnit, NUnit)
• Experience in either REACT, Angular, Blazor or any frontend framework
• Observability and analytics application (eg: ADOBE Analytics, ELK Stack)
• Knowledge in CI/CD (e.g., TFS, Azure DevOps, GitLab, GitHub actions)
