About the Role
We are seeking a Utilities Engineer to support manufacturing operations within a leading biopharmaceutical facility. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, compliant, and efficient manufacturing processes for assigned utility systems, and effective management of routine engineering activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the system owner for assigned utility systems, ensuring safe, reliable, and compliant operations.
Manage day-to-day utility system performance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support routine operations, maintenance coordination, and lifecycle management of utility assets.
Ensure utility systems operate in compliance with GMP, quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to resolve operational issues.
Lead or participate in change controls, deviation investigations, CAPAs, risk assessments, and system improvements.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on utility-related projects and operational activities.
Monitor system performance metrics and drive reliability and efficiency improvements.
Support project execution and implementation activities where required.
Preferred Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Experience as a system owner/process owner for utilties equipment is preferred.
Strong vendor management, process and manufacturing, and equipment lifecycle management experience.
Good organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
