Job Description

We are seeking a Vision Systems & Manufacturing Build Engineer to lead vision kit

assembly, system testing, and hardware-software integration for automated machine

vision systems. The role involves managing end-to-end manufacturing builds,

engineering prototype development, software validation, and maintaining strict

manufacturing quality standards. Candidates should have a strong foundation in

manufacturing assembly and system testing, with proficiency in English and Mandarin

for supplier and client coordination. Experience or interest in vision inspection systems,

industrial automation setups, ECN processing, and complex BOM maintenance is

highly valued.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end manufacturing builds for vision kits, including software

loading and pre-shipment system testing.

• Build functional engineering prototypes and demo units for client

demonstrations and internal testing.

• Test, validate, and troubleshoot new software releases and hardware

components prior to machine deployment.

• Manage Engineering Change Notice (ECN) documentation and keep complex

Bills of Materials (BOM) updated.

• Maintain high 5S standards to keep the manufacturing assembly area organized,

safe, and efficient.

• Provide field support to assist with technical updates, system integrations, and

on-site troubleshooting.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver quality-driven hardware-

software solutions.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Education: SKM, Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical,

Electrical Engineering, or a related field.• Experience: 2+ years of hands-on working experience in manufacturing build,

assembly, or system testing.

• Communication & Language: Excellent communication and interpersonal

skills, with proficiency in English and Mandarin to coordinate with native

Mandarin-speaking suppliers, clients, and internal teams.

• Quality & Operations: Strong analytical mindset, highly quality-oriented, and

practical experience with 5S practices.

• Eligibility: Open to Malaysian citizens, permanent residents, or local candidates

based in Malaysia.

Preferred Qualifications

• Industrial Automation: Prior experience with vision inspection systems or

industrial automation setups.

• Engineering Process: Practical experience in processing ECNs and managing

complex manufacturing BOMs.

• System Integration: Direct hands-on experience handling hardware/software

integration and pre-shipment testing workflows.
