Join our prestigious private club collective in Hong Kong as Assistant Accountant.

We are seeking an Assistant Accountant to support the accounting and financial operations across our three private clubs business unit in Hong Kong. This role is responsible for general ledger support, journal processing, month-end closing activities, balance sheet reconciliations, accounts payable administration, financial reporting support and audit coordination, ensuring accurate, timely and compliant financial records across the cluster.

About the Role:
The role is ideal for a finance professional who combines solid accounting knowledge with strong attention to detail, analytical capability and a commitment to operational excellence. The successful candidate will support daily accounting operations, month-end closing processes, reconciliations, reporting activities and audit requirements while collaborating closely with multiple stakeholders across a multi-entity operating environment.

What you need to have:
Accounting Fundamentals: Solid understanding of general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations and month-end closing processes. Hospitality, hotel, club or restaurant industry experience is highly preferred.

Accuracy & Integrity: Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate, compliant and reliable financial records.

Analytical Mindset: Ability to identify discrepancies, resolve accounting issues and support process improvements.

Collaboration: Builds effective working relationships with finance colleagues and cross-functional teams to support operational excellence.

Adaptability: Comfortable working in a multi-business-unit environment while managing competing priorities and deadlines.

Systems & Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting systems and financial reporting tools.

What you will do:
Support general ledger operations, including journal entries, reconciliations and month-end closing activities to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Prepare balance sheet schedules, account analyses and financial reports while assisting with budgets, forecasts and cash flow reporting.

Support accounts payable activities and ensure transactions are processed accurately and in compliance with established controls.

Assist with cost control, inventory reconciliations and financial data reviews to maintain reporting accuracy.

Coordinate audit schedules, supporting documentation and compliance requirements for internal and external audits.

Collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, Talent & Culture and other stakeholders to support business objectives and drive operational efficiency.
