The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Database Administrator to support critical MSSQL environments within the technology sector. This is a great opportunity for a junior DBA to build hands-on experience managing enterprise-grade database systems while working alongside experienced professionals.

What You'll Do

• Administer and maintain MSSQL Server databases across production and non-production environments

• Write and optimise T-SQL scripts for various administrative and reporting tasks

• Perform regular backup and recovery procedures to safeguard critical data

• Conduct performance tuning to ensure optimal database efficiency

• Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions

• Manage security and access control to protect sensitive information

• Support high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) configurations

• Follow structured change management processes for all database updates

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in MSSQL database administration

• Solid understanding of T-SQL scripting and database management practices

• Experience with backup, recovery, and performance tuning techniques

• Familiarity with HA/DR concepts and security/access control best practices

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Ability to follow change management procedures diligently

• A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn
