Cloud Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure across public and hybrid cloud environments, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Support cloud migration, infrastructure deployment, system upgrades, and modernization initiatives.
• Provision and manage cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
• Ensure the availability, scalability, performance, and security of cloud infrastructure and services.
• Configure and manage cloud networking components, including VPC/VNet, VPNs, firewalls, load balancers, routing, and DNS.
• Monitor cloud environments and support service availability in accordance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Perform routine infrastructure maintenance, patching, backup management, and support disaster recovery initiatives.
• Implement and maintain cloud security configurations and infrastructure best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure, system, and network-related issues.
• Collaborate with application, DevOps, and engineering teams to support cloud-based applications and services.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, infrastructure configurations, architecture diagrams, and project reports.

Qualities We Value:

• Good knowledge of at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
• Understanding of virtualization technologies, hypervisors, and cloud-native services.
• Good understanding of networking concepts, including VPC/VNet, VPN, firewalls, load balancing, routing, and DNS.
• Understanding of cloud security best practices.
• Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive and hands-on approach.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $4,800.00 - $5,400.00 per month
