About the role:

Responsible for routine maintenance, repairs, and minor installations to ensure the school’s facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained. The role covers basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repair work to support daily school operations.

Key responsibilities:

1. General Maintenance & Repairs
- Perform minor repairs on doors, windows, furniture, and fixtures.
- Assist with plumbing tasks such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and repairing pipes.
-Conduct basic electrical work, including replacing light bulbs, sockets, and minor wiring tasks.
-Carry out painting, plastering, and other cosmetic maintenance as needed.

2. Facility Upkeep & Inspections
-Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance issues.
-Ensure all school facilities, including classrooms, offices, hallways, and outdoor areas, are in good working condition.
-Report major repair needs to the Facility Executive or Manager.

3. Furniture & Equipment Support
-Assist in assembling, repairing, and relocating furniture and fixtures.
-Assist in set up and arrange classrooms, halls, and meeting areas for school events.
-Ensure proper upkeep of tools and equipment used for maintenance work.

4. Safety & Compliance
-Follow safety protocols while performing maintenance tasks.
-Assist in emergency maintenance work, such as fixing broken doors, windows, or electrical failures.
-Ensure compliance with school safety policies and report any hazards immediately.

5. Support for School Operations & Events
-Assist in providing technical support for school events, including setup and dismantling of equipment.
-Assist with moving supplies, deliveries, and inventory management as required.
-Work with other maintenance and janitorial staff to ensure smooth facility operations.

6. Tasks Allocation
-Assist Aircon Technician in cleaning and servicing air-condition units
-Assist Maintenance Staff for office setup and relocations

7. Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned by Management.

Pay: From RM1,700.00 per month
