About the Position
The Journal of Advanced Research for Scholars (JARS) is inviting distinguished scholars, university academics, senior researchers, and subject matter experts to join its founding Editorial Board ahead of the journal's official launch.
This is a remote, honorary academic service position designed for passionate professionals committed to advancing research excellence, scholarly integrity, and multidisciplinary publication standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Contribute to shaping JARS editorial policies, peer-review frameworks, and academic scope.
- Editorial Oversight: Participate in manuscript evaluations and high-level editorial decisions within your field.
- Special Issues & Topics: Advise on emerging research trends and support the development of special journal issues.
- Academic Advocacy: Represent the journal's commitment to high ethical publication standards and recommend qualified reviewers.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree, Doctorate / PhD, or equivalent advanced academic or clinical qualification.
- Demonstrated track record in academic research, scholarly writing, or university-level teaching.
- Strong familiarity with research ethics, methodology, and peer-review processes.
- Active involvement in scholarly publishing or previous journal board experience is an advantage.
